About the authors:
Dr Chris Williams is an expert and trainer in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, and works as a Senior Lecturer in the section of Psychological Medicine at the University of Glasgow. He has been a Governing Board member of the UKCP and is a Past President of
BABCP (www.babcp.com). He is also a Patron of the National Phobics Society and Trustee of the charity Triumph over Phobia.

Dr Roch Cantwell is Consultant Perinatal Psychiatrist at the Perinatal Mental Health Service, Department of Psychiatry, at the Southern General Hospital, in Glasgow, UK. He is Honorary Secretary of the Royal College of Psychiatrists’ Perinatal Section and Psychiatric Assessor to the Confidential Enquiries into Maternal Health in Scotland.

Ms Karen Robertson is Associate Director of Nursing in Mental Health and Learning Disability in NHS Lanarkshire, and is formally Nurse Consultant in Perinatal Mental Health at the Perinatal Mental Health service, Southern General Hospital, Glasgow, UK. She has a postgraduate diploma in cognitive behaviour therapy and is a member of the BABCP.
